since I have nothing else to do...I am updating my xanga - something i like to do once in a decade at least!

list of random thoughts:

- xanga is so rejected now. i have been totally rejecting my xanga after facebook came into the picture.
- the new internet explorer is such a copy of firefox! - not so much the features but the style is so similar...
- I hate M1...I wish we were still doing something like S1...oh and I also don't particularly like core maths cos it's sooo repetitive...not that M1 isn't...

okay time to get even more random:

- i should really download the new episode of the OC - dammit...they're cancelling the show after the fourth season - lei lo mo!
- jane is spoilt - she finds it so cold right now that she cant shut up + she cannot survive without her "ah ma!" oh...and her bus driver is totally stalking her
- kiki overuses zomg! hahahaha
- I like to imitate people - not that anyone doesn't know that already

even MORE random:

- i got to see jane to the "bend and snap" today HAHAHAHA!
- lame chemistry joke i heard from eric: "which bear can swim better in water - white or brown?" well? white...because it's polar! lame i know...and plus you'll only get it if you take chemistry. in fact it's so lame that jane didn't even find it funny.
- i'm bored...and i've run out of random thoughts. i really need to find something less pointless to update my xanga with!

NEWSPAPER LAYOUT IS

OFFICIALLY COMPLETE!

....and i'm FINALLY FREE...no more late nights

Good timing! My sister just got to HK today. Ahhh I had a bio test today which I had no time to revise for, but still managed to scrape off a good mark - phew! Now it's time to finally pay attention to my subjects and catch up on what I missed during typhoid.

Btw.... BAKE FOR CHARITY! I'm sure loads of you have seen the posters and bulleting notices.

Well that's all for now...hopefully you'll all get to see the newspaper sometime next week! I really wanna thank Jane and Shirley for putting up with my constant whining, even though Shirley got so tired of it! YOU WONG CHEUK LING YOU! Oh btw you aren't the best at chemistry...all three of us have our own strong points !

Mr. Rodda has taken over for poor Mr. Arnold who is still recovering in hospital. I must say, Mr. Rodda is a really good teacher...I finally fully understand Hess's Law.

Well that's it...gotta START catching up now. TA!

hey guys!

everyone wants to know whats going on but im sorry to say due to me messed up digestive system...i can't eat much and therefore dont have enough energy to tell you all everything separately. >.< sorry....so i decided i'll just update my xanga...and whoevers interested can read it.

okay well it was monday [2nd September] that my fever started and ever since i have not come to school. at first it just seemed like some mild flu so i didnt visit any doctor or anything as my fever wasn't very high. i just took rest for most of the time in the hope of getting better within 2 or 3 days. however...on wednesday my fever went well above 40 degrees celcius [it was around 104 farenheit] and my body started aching including muscles, head and back. so my parents got worried and took me to the private doctor we usually go to. but you know the private doctors in hong kong....and he was just like them. he also thought it was just the common flu and he gave me like 7 different medicines to take. so i took those for around 3 days. my fever was constantly high and only subsided for a while after i took panadols. however it wouldn't go away. on saturday it was around 40.8 degrees celcius...and it had been almost a week since i was sick. so my parents took me to the emergency ward of tuen mun hospital. it took ages before i got to see a doctor and they did all these tests including ECG and urine tests. they found something wrong and decided to admit me. so on saturday i was admitted to the pediatric [childrens] ward of tuen mun hospital. their i had to do my first blood test and to be honest i was nervous. they inserted this thick needle into my wrist vein and the first time it was very painful. but they did blood tests daily so i got used to it. due to my loss of apetite and weak digestive system...they also put me on something called "the drip" which is when they feed a solution of glucose water and salts into my body by sending it down my veins via a needle. so yes they stuck a needle in my hand and attached it to a  machine which constantly dripped the solution into my vein. now this machine was very annoying because i had to push it along with me to the toilet and everything. while i was in the pediatric ward my parents could stay with me for as long as they wanted. although i convinced them to go home at night because i didnt want them to take the trouble of sleeping on a chair and staying with me at the hospital.

on sunday the result of the blood test came back and my condition was worse. on that they they finally diagnosed me with typhoid and i felt a relief because they finally knew what i had. they had to then move me into isolation so they moved me into an isolation ward with sliding doors and extra protection. this meant that my parents could only visit me between 4pm and 8 pm and if only be able to spend 4 hours with them. it also meant that i would be very loney as i was in isolation. there was a tv with the local channels which were pretty boring. the isolation ward is where ive been living for the past week...pretty uncomfortable because of the loneliness. on top of feeding me the solution...they had to feed my antibiotics to treat the typhoid bacteria in my blood, and this was also fed through the veins [same needle]. after the antibiotic i would go through a period of shivering as the antibiotic fought with the bacteria in my blood. i constantly went through blood tests because they had to check if the bacteria was still in my blood. i got really sick of staying in the isolation ward and i really wanted to go home and be with my parents. today the doctor came and told me that i could take home leave...which meant i could stay at home...but i would have to keep coming back to the hospital. so today...after a week of staying in isolation and taking antibiotics...i am able to stay at home. i have the go to the hospital tomoro at 9 am for my check up and dose of antibiotics. i still have a needle in me...even at home...because they'll be using it when i go to the hospital and will feed the antibiotic through it. the needle makes it hard to type too much. also i will have to go to the hospital at 8pm for another check up....so i have to go twice daily.

currently im lacking energy as im no longer being fed the glucose and salts solution. i have to try eating food and im not able to because my digestive system is still in a mess. for this reason i have not much energy...and im really tired after typing all this.

the doctor says i'll be away from school for another 1 or 2 weeks...until all my systems are back to normal and everything is fine again...including my energy levels. while doing my check ups they might insist that i be admitted into hospital again but i really hope not. overall most of the nurses were nice but it was lonely....and it's good to be back with my family.

LAST DAY FOR YEAR 11!

Thats good because it practically means holidays have started...but it also sucks cos now i actually have to START revision >.< Some people have revised do much...

Wow...yesterday was actually really fun....what with all the party's and food...

In business we just relaxed and sat together to have a chat about whatever we wanted to. We told St. Paul to bring a movie for us...but all he could find was a documentar called "coorperation" so we just sat back and talked. Chinese we basically played cards...ate mon cakes, egg rolls etc and saw Mr. Cheungs gallery to Iran and Dubai AND Egypt...wow they looked so pro lol.
P.E. went to weights room...exercised for first half and played on the bouncy balls [like kids] for the second half...YAN HAS PICTURES! English we continued watching The Girl Next Door...it was a good movie hahaha...oh anbd we had loads of party food! And science was kinda boring but we looked at sample exam answers...some were funny...like one of the questions was "How does blah blah blah" and this guy wrote "magic".

The final assembly was pretty fun! I have a video of the mexican wave and im trying to put it up right now...it's not working...will try again later. ANYWAY! Time for PICTURES. I had to resize them all to 450x388 for uploading and so it would fit on this page....grrr

After the party there were many mad mental videos which featured me meditating on escalators and doing ALLAH in the middle of no where...but then we went to watch 'Inside Man' which I thought was pretty crap...I wanted to watch something scary like FINAL DESTINATION 3...but Geoffrey and Grace are such big scaredy cats...grrr...

The awesomely sexy, drop down gorgeous NANNY MCPHEE! [especially for her buck tooth and moles]

Sorry...i just couldn't resist...she was such a beautiful witch that i HAD to kiss her...

Well...I better stop procastinating and get back to revision. Argh..i just HAD TO start with Chinese...blech...

If i feel like procastinating again [this is VERY likely] then i'll update with pics from ocean park...which were taken agaes ago. However, i might not be bothered at all.
